Both Dr. Ganly and Dr. Luchanko are optometrists that are certified to examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures, as well as diagnose related systemic conditions. Although not all optometrists are certified to prescribe medications, both doctors are therapeutically licensed to prescribe topical and oral medications, including those for the treatment of eye infections and glaucoma. We are also both trained to discuss and prescribe LATISSE®, a new medication used to grow eyelashes- making them longer, thicker and darker. With the addition of new graduates, the number continues to grow, however, not all Optometrists in the state of Pennsylvania are therapeutically licensed; and even less are eligible to treat glaucoma or use steroids.
